Healesville Cup 2010

Class prevailed in the 2010 Group 3 Healesville Cup [340 metres] on April 24 with hot favourite Gardam Prince [$1.70fav] defeating Din's Son [$6.00] by two lengths, with  Son Of Lorian [$5.00] third.

Gardam Prince, who is trained at Devon Meadows by Darren McDonald, clocked the smart time of 18.56sec from box 8 and in doing so claimed a first prize of $20,000.

Racing at Healesville's magnificent 340 metres grass straight track is set to hit Sky Channel screens from July, which will add a new dimension to betting on the greyhounds in TABs.
